Discipline
The school’s disciplinary system is based on the development of the following character traits:
Caring, Responsibility, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Respect, and Citizenship.
Therapeutic services
Our school offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary therapeutic service aimed at supporting each learner’s holistic development, wellbeing, and participation in school life. Our experienced team works collaboratively to address learners’ medical, emotional, physical, sensory, communication, and developmental needs within the educational environment.
The team consists of a nurse, psychologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and speech-language therapist, who work closely with educators and families to provide individualised, goal-directed support. Where possible, services are integrated into the school day to ensure that therapy is meaningful, functional, and relevant to each learner’s learning and daily activities.
Through early identification, ongoing intervention, and regular collaboration, our therapeutic team strives to promote independence, strengthen learning readiness, support emotional regulation, and enhance the overall quality of life of every learner.

Hostel and bus transport

Hostel
Our school hostel provides safe, structured accommodation for learners who live far from the school and require residential support during the school term. The hostel has 75 beds and offers a caring environment with continuous supervision to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all learners.
The facility is wheelchair-friendly, enabling learners with physical accessibility needs to move comfortably and independently within the hostel environment.
Please note that the hostel is closed during school holidays and one weekend per month, in accordance with the school calendar.
Bus Transport
All town learners may make use of the school’s bus transport on a daily basis. Learners must be ready to be collected from 06:30 and will be dropped off from 13:30.
